their facilities in areas such as lighting, HVAC, food preparation
equipment, sanitation, and refrigeration. This course includes a
demonstration of qualified equipment by a professional chef and a
discussion on new and expanded rebates for Foodservice equipment. (Program

Zoning Design and Beyond NEW CLASS

This one-day program will build upon the content covered in the ACCA Manual
J – Equipment Sizing and Selection and ACCA Manual D - Duct Design classes.
Students will learn how to successfully solve residential comfort and
energy problems using zoned HVAC systems. Class content will include Title
24 credit for zoning, types of zoning hardware, and real world examples of
zoning solutions that work. The instructor will also cover stratification,
problem-solving, and other advanced issues not addressed in prior classes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their design problems to class for review
and discussion. (It is recommended that “ACCA Manual J – Equipment Sizing
and Selection” and “ACCA Manual D – Duct Design” be taken before this
class.)

Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers: Energy Efficiency
Applications

Management, operations, and maintenance professionals will learn the basics
of how Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) operate in an industrial
process and how they can be used for energy efficient applications.

Controller terminology, how the hardware components are used, and the
basics of relay ladder logic.


Field Verification and Diagnostic Testing of Photovoltaic Systems

Designed specifically for photovoltaic (PV) system installers, this
hands-on course provides a detailed review on post installation
verification inspections performed by certified Home Energy Raters, which
is a requirement for solar rebate incentives. Demonstrations and
discussions include measured versus expected power output, verification of
equipment, shading analysis, and measurement of solar radiation.


Lighting Your Way to Zero Net NEW CLASS Video Conference
