I cannot help but comment on the current marketing campaign by the City of Fresno about how we are number 1 in the nation as far as waste handling is concerned (applause please). My beef is just that when there is a consumer-focused marketing campaign, shouldn't the interactive component be geared for consumers as well.

The current fresnorecycles.org website just forwards to a corporate-type web page, which is a part of the City of Fresno's fresno.gov. With the website address having substantial exposure from print and radio ads, this is a wasted opportunity to really drive the message of the importance of recycling in our city.

Green Fresno (Tom and I) would be very willing to be consultants to any interactive marketing project that's focused on "green" initiatives.
