We can customize and bring these workshops to your site:

Career Pathways Leadership Certification

For current and future Career Pathways leaders

A two-day certification workshop for Career Pathways coordinators, Tech Prep coordinators, administrators, counselors, deans, division chairs and faculty members whose duties include Career Pathways leadership. The purpose of the training is to empower local or state personnel to implement Career Pathways and to provide tools and resources. The workshops involve fifteen contact hours over two days.

Building Programs of Study Workshop

For secondary and postsecondary teachers, counselors, and administrators

The foundation of every Career Pathway is the curriculum framework that specifies what students in a given pathway study and in what order. Participants in this one-day workshop will be led through a seven-step curriculum-framework-development process (individual plans of study) including federal, state and local requirements. By the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have completed a draft curriculum framework and crosswalked existing and new courses with nationally validated knowledge and skill statements. Participants will be able to apply the development process to other pathways.

Adult Career Pathways Leadership Certification

For community college administrators, faculty, and staff

A one-day certification workshop to find solutions to problems that prevent many citizens from obtaining the education that today’s workplace demands. The purpose of this workshop is to challenge the community college campus to work together in providing the leadership for an Adult Career Pathways system. This workshop will lead participants through practical strategies and
examples. Participants will leave with a draft plan to tackle this urgent need.
