Hey Grease fans, I've been a fan of Grease Cars for the last 4 years or so, although my expertise is more in the world of biodiesel. As you may or may not know, a "Grease Car" is generally a car or truck with a modified fuel system to use vegetable oil or Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO). It is a terrific way to recycle waste oil, it is renewable and clean burning. Biodiesel is the same idea, but from a slightly different angle. I like the idea of biodiesel because, in theory, you can drive up to a biodiesel pump with any diesel machinery and pump it in...it should be easy! But have you seen a biodiesel pump at a California gas station recently? Probably not. They only exist in major cities. So I tend to suggest Grease Cars to my friends and family. But I still have the desire to have access to a retail pump that people of the valley can put clean biodiesel in their vehicles. Environmentally sound, simple, easy and convenient. Do you share this view? A group of concerned locals are trying to get a retail pump. Want to help...be a pioneer in the fight for clean, renewable energy? Does Fresno care?
