Permalink Reply by cnps-sequoia on September 2, 2011 at 9:37pm The local chapter of the California Native Plant Society (the Sequoia Chapter) has some flyers on using California native plants in the landscape. They are posted on our website (www.cnps-sequoia.org). Our state website also has a lot of good information (www.cnps.org).
Every year on the last Saturday of September we co-sponsor a plant sale with the Clovis Botanical Garden where you can see many native plants and water-wise plants from other areas that thrive in the Valley. In 2011 it's on September 24. The event is posted here on greenfresno.org and on our websites. You can get the address and directions from www.clovisbotanicalgarden.org.
As others have mentioned, Intermountain Nursery in Prather is a great resource.
