Man, car-sharing sounds like a great idea. We have a small car and our friends have a van. We do a lot of trading cars to maximize fuel economy for long trips or just to move more people at once. If two or three families could own just one car together, that'd be awesome. Seems like some of the issues might be cost/liability sharing (insurance issues?) and scheduling - very feasible! Woohoo!

Car sharing is a must! You see so many single drivers on their way to work. If just half of them could double up, that would cut commuter traffic in half! It was somewhat hopeful seeing three of my coworkers who showed up to work in one car, that equals two more unnecessary cars off the road that are not contributing to the bad air.

Alas, I cannot aid you, for I ride a bicycle twelve miles to work everyday. I freely admit to my deep disdain of American car culture and everything inherently wrong with it. So I must conclude this post with a plug for man's most graceful invention, the bicycle. So free your self man! All you need are your two legs to get you somewhere. Enjoy each and every day to its fullest by spending some time out in it. It just takes some experimenting to find the right bicycle for you!
