Hello Biodiesel Friends,                                                                                                  6/15/11

I am writing this letter to let you all know of an opportunity to jump in and get wet with Biodiesel.

I have been making this fuel for my family and occasionally a few friends for the last six years.  It has been fun and exceptionally rewarding.  Hopefully my project has proven to a few people that biodiesel is a viable, clean, renewable, and carbon neutral fuel that is ready for use right now.  It has been financially beneficial to my family while proving biodiesel is one of the many great answers to our national energy puzzle. Best of all, I have met the greatest people because of this project…many people with great hearts and concern for our earth.  I think being able to meet these people and becoming friends with them will be the most lasting memory for me.

God has blessed my family and I with much opportunity.  A new family project that Laurie and I wish to get much more involved with is making a Net Zero Home.  This is a home that, while being cost competitive with current construction, will, over the course of a year, produce more energy than it uses.  Not just electricity, but the entire energy picture, including the natural gas usage.  The idea greatly excites me and has been under construction in my mind over the last four years.  We intend to put much more time on this project in the coming years.

The downside of too much opportunity is not having enough time to devote to both of these endeavors.  While I still intend to educate interested people and institutions on biodiesel, I am going to stop making large quantities of it.  With a recent change in my job and the demands of family life, I find I am not able to put enough time on our Net Zero Home.  This is where your opportunity may lie.

Many of you have wanted to get involved over the years, but for various reasons have not been able to.  I have always thought that a group of people working cooperatively would be a more efficient way of buying/making/using biodiesel.  As I back out of making the fuel, your door opens to walk in.

I have proven sources of Waste Vegetable Oil that need a home.  I have built equipment that has made well over 2,500 gallons of high quality fuel over the years, which also needs a home.  I own a biodiesel-certified retail pump that is dieing to introduce biodiesel to the good people of our valley.  Very recently I have had many more inquiries about biodiesel and where to buy it or how to make it.  I invite all interested parties to write me at my home email address, moefamily1@sbcglobal.net, to try to combine this group into a workable Coop.  Alternatively, if the Coop idea is not popular or workable, I am looking for a responsible, hard working person or group who want to take over my operation.  This deal comes with tutoring and expert advice, as required.

Thanks for your time,

Sincerely,

Pete Moe
